Is there an active waitlist?
Our Bethel home is licensed to care for 6 residents. There is an application process; depending on house availability you may be placed on a waiting list according to the date of your application and level of assistance needed.
Do you offer hospice care?
If a resident becomes hospice eligible while living in our homes, staff will work with family members and hospice services of your choice to support aging in place.
Do you offer skilled nursing care?
We are licensed as a Private Non-Medical facility, which means we do not offer skilled nursing services. Our staff is highly trained in the basic nursing that is needed to provide a safe, nurturing home care environment.
We also have an RN consultant on staff to assist with care planning.
What is your daily rate for care?
Daily rates range between $190 - $380
We do accept MaineCare Insurance; and that cost is determined on an individual basis
What is included in your daily rates for care?
Room and board
Daily meals and snacks
Assistance with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, mobility, etc.
Basic nursing services including general health monitoring, simple wound dressing, insulin injections, etc.
Transportation to medical appointments
What can I do to help prepare for my loved one's admission?
~Designate someone to act as the individual’s legal representative
~If your loved one will be applying for long term care, contact Maine DHHS to complete an application.
~Seek out a local area physician to provide primary care and to be sure he/she is up to date on physicals and immunizations
~Creating a journal that includes your loved ones likes and dislikes, his/her daily routine, food preferences, activities, etc.
